Marine Group:

Well I guess it that time of the year again....31 yrs coming together. Our host this year is Ken Malone and his lovely wife Carla. Ken has already found and booked a wonderful hotel/resort right on the beach for our 31st. reunion in Clearwater FL.....
Our dates are firmed up as 9/30/18 thru 10/4/18 at Shepard's Beach Resort located at 619 S. Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater Beach FL 33767. Tel. 727 442-5107 please ask for Vietnam Marine Reunion when calling. Price of the rooms are $122. to $142. + taxes etc. The hotel also offers 1 and 2 bedroom suites for under $200. if anyone is interested. Valet Parking is FREE at the resort....

Our contact at the hotel is Carley Due. She is available to answer any questions on booking or suites. This hotel offers many discounts for the Clearwater Beach area. There are numerous places to eat and shop right on the beach within walking distance of the resort. "Winter" the Dolphin is at the Clearwater aquarium 1/2 mile away. Transportation is very convenient with Tampa airport 22 miles away, Clearwater/St Pete airport 12 miles away. Airport shuttle runs 24 hrs a day or uber is avail.
Shepard,s will honor our price for several days before and after reunion. At this point however, We can only get 15 rooms at a time on block so it is important for you to book as soon as possible. This Resort fills up every day. They are requiring a 1 night deposit to hold room but if you must cancel do so within 72 hrs before date they will refund 100% back to you. There are bike, golfcart and gator rentels here as well. This is a fantastic Resort with music by the beach everyday some rooms hear it more than others so if you want to be away from it request at booking.

Since we are again on the East Coast, We hope to see those of you who may have not attended reunion in a few years. Remember make your reservations early! See you all in the fall. Semper FI to all.
